Where is Laredo?: (click to see larger image)Newcomers and Friends of Laredo, Inc is a social club founded in 1983 by Jody Townsend, wife of Laredo’s first City Manager.
We are a group of Laredoans, as well as Newcomers, who are anxious to meet you. We have found that getting together and making new friends makes your relocation adjustment much easier and more enjoyable.
We have a number of social activities planned for you each month which are specifically designed to help acquaint you with all that Laredo has to offer.
In addition, current members will be able to offer suggestions and make recommendations regarding babysitting, doctors, dentists, hairdressers, or other services you may need.
